WHAT

Ringwood Project is a  feasibility study looking to maximize the potential of a site in Ringwood and provide maximum benefit to the community through integration of NDIS services and apartments close to the Austin Health complex, in an area that is bordering health and residential services. Through this development the client was looking at bringing together facilities such as a clinic with consulting suites  as well as medium term 2 bedroom NDIS High Physical Support apartments.
On a 860sqm site, the client was looking at concepts for a 6 storey building  to house several functions.
2 Define came with the suggestion to use the natural contraints of the site to house a lower ground floor  for a carpark, while the main access of the building for pedestrians paralel on the main street, engages the passers-by through small retail and front activation.
The upper levels are designed to house fully HPS friendly 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments.
